About Spectral Discovery
Your sample is limited. Your budget is limited. Your time is limited. Current epigenetic tools ask you to choose which one to sacrifice.
The problem
Epigenetics is one of the fastest-growing areas of drug discovery — but the tools haven’t kept pace.
Measuring several epigenetic marks at once, in the same individual cell, has always forced a trade-off. Sequencing-based methods can profile a handful of marks, but each additional one adds cost, time, and analytical complexity — and even the most advanced multiplexed approaches rarely reach true single-cell resolution across all marks simultaneously. Mass cytometry can look at more marks together, but the epigenetic multiplexing methods built on it remain mostly academic, non-commercial tools — and the instrumentation itself is costly and specialised.
The result: researchers either split precious samples across multiple techniques and stitch the data back together, or accept a partial, low-resolution picture of what’s actually happening inside each cell.
Our Solution
One assay. Many marks. Single-cell resolution.
Every cell carries a unique epigenetic signature — chemical marks on DNA and histones that switch genes on or off without changing the underlying genetic code. This signature shapes how cells behave in health and disease, and it’s increasingly the target of a new generation of drugs.
Spectral Discovery is built on spectral flow cytometry — an advanced form of cell analysis already trusted across immunology and cell biology. Combined with a custom antibody panel and proprietary data-processing software, it quantifies up to 25 epigenetic marks simultaneously, cell by cell, without sequencing.
In practice, this means:
How It Works
Sample In
Cells or cell populations are prepared from your biological sample.

Spectral Analysis
A customizable panel of up to 25 epigenetic marks is measured by spectral flow cytometry.
Data Processing
High-dimensional data is processed, normalized and quality controlled to extract epigenetic signatures.
Actionable Results
Clear, cell population-specific insights that support confident decisions and accelerate discovery.
Customizable
Design your panel with the epigenetic marks that matter most.
Up to 25 marks
Measure up to 25 epigenetic parameters in a single, high-content assay.
Any cell type
Works with whole cells or isolated nuclei across diverse sample types.
Robust & validated
Built on rigorous science and validated analytical pipelines.
Flow cytometry-based epigenetic profiling
Epigenetic panel (16 epigenetic marks)

Enables simultaneous quantification of 16 epigenetic parameters across 7 brain cell types through spectral flow cytometry
Why It’s Different
We don’t tell you where on the genome a mark sits — for that, sequencing remains the right tool. We tell you how the overall epigenetic state of each individual cell changes, fast and affordably enough to screen many conditions, compounds or samples in the time it currently takes to run one sequencing experiment.
